Hello
In the spirit of community, can all new members (from now on) please quickly introduce themselves in this post so we can say hi.  Also, all new members please ensure you read the forum rules before posting.

Please also note that the main vale-da-telha.eu site does not need registration to view but if you want to post on it (blogs, chat etc) then you will need to and registration is separate to the forum

I have noticed that we have had at least 3 new members since I posted this notice.  Please can all new members write one post here before posting in any other threads.  Old members feel free to post too.  The aim of this is to prevent spamming.


In order to get the ball rolling, I am Sarah, I set up and run this forum.  I am in my thirties, I am a web developer and I am really happy that I live in such a beautiful place!

I am Barbara, and have found the site very helpful.  We bought In Vale De Telha a year ago, after spending a lot of Holidays at my daughters villa, also in Vale de Telha.  We are out at least 8 times a year, and eventually will move out there permenantly.

My name is David and I am relocating my family to Portugal because my wife and I would like them to grow up away from the UK and in a country that embraces children
 
We have 5 young children ages 7,6,6,3 and 1
 
Is Vale da Tehla a good place for my family to move too?

In case anyone is wondering about the User name and it causes any  confusion, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify something. I am the "uvver arf" of Truffsie and we wanted to have our own logins on this site. We are therefore using our second names for this purpose. Hence, Eddie and Susan.
